H2B SEASONAL WORKERS PROGRAM

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

 

H2b is a seasonal workers program of USA’s Department of State that permits foreigners the possibility to work legally in America for a period of six (6) months to three (3) years. Applicants who are accepted under the programme are granted a DS-2019 form that is taken to the US Embassy Consulate to obtain a H2B visa.

PROGRAMME ELIGIBILITY

 

To be eligible for the H2B Programme you must be: 

  1. Be willing to work in unskilled jobs as approved by the US Department of State.

  2. A clean police record

  3. Between the ages of 18 and 45

  4. You intend to return to your home country on expiration of the visa

  5. Willing to attend orientation, interview and training sessions.

H2B INFORMATION

 

Our H2B program offers temporary employment and cultural exchange for participants in the United States of America.  The H2B visa is available to employers of foreign non-professional and non agricultural field . This visa is only available for work that is temporary in nature. For H2B purposes this means; 1. Recurring seasonal need, Intermittent need, peak-load need and One time Occurrence.

The benefits of the programme are for participants to learn about the American culture; as well as to share your own culture and represent Jamaica. One other benefit is also that you get to internationalize your resume.

  • Embassy Visa Application Consultation 

  • Booking of Plane Ticket

  • Filing Tax Returns

WORKERS TRAINING

​

We offer specific training to Adults:

  • Customer Service Training (Mandatory)

  • Basic Food Preparation (Mandatory for applicants handling Food)

EMPLOYER SERVICES

We offer specific services to employers:

  • Recruiting and Screening Applicants

  • Interviewing Applicants
